Walk-up. Brunch-up. Drink-up. Repeat.
Ask a local Austinite which part of town is known for its nightlife - you’ll be recommended Rainey Street. The old cottages lining Rainey have been converted to serve up food, alcohol, and wild festivities to thousands of visitors a year.
At the top of Rainey Street sit two joint venues, L’Estelle House and the Drafting Room. This late-night kitchen and cocktail bar are built within a pair of wooden bungalows. A courtyard connects the two, giving the space a capacity of up to 125 guests!
Bamboo separates the courtyard from the main road and the swarming crowds. Head all the way back to the Drafting Room for a good beer, stiff drink, or bubbly champagne.
Need a cup of joe? Grab a hand-crafted espresso drink at the French-inspired L’Estelle House! An on-site barista will froth you up a cappuccino, latte, or pull you a simple double-shot.
On weekends, this spot is a brunch-lovers dream. The food made by L’Estelle House is absolutely breathtaking. Have a look!
Since opening, L’Estelle House and the Drafting Room have hosted SXSW bashes, private gatherings, corporate functions, stops on Rainey Street bar crawls, bachelorette parties, and other memorable events!
The kitchen provides custom finger food while the bartenders deliver refreshments. Musicians and bands serenade the crowd while envious onlookers peer through the bamboo. We’ve even seen bar crawlers skip the rest of their tour to avoid losing seats in the Drafting Room!
Talk about good vibes.
